PROFESSORS OF THE FIRST ACADEMY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Franck Bedrossian (France)
\n<\/strong>After studying harmony, counterpoint, orchestration and musical analysis at the Conservatoire Sup\u0439rieur de Paris, he studied composition with Allain\u00a0Gaussin and entered the Conservatoire National Sup\u0439rieur de Musique de Paris \u00a0(class of Gerard Grisey and Marco\u00a0Stroppa) where he obtained a first prize of analysis and the diploma of higher studies in composition unanimously.\u00a0In 2002-2003, he attended the Cursus in composition and computer music at IRCAM and receives education Philippe Leroux, Brian Ferneyhough, Tristan Murail and Philippe Manoury.\u00a0Meanwhile, he completed his training with Helmut Lachenmann (Acanthes 1999, International Ensemble Modern Akademie 2004).
\nHis works have been performed in France and abroad by ensembles such as L’Itin\u0439raire, 2E2M, Ictus, Court Circuit, Cairn, Ensemble Modern, Alternance, Ensemble Intercontemporain, the Orchestre National de Lyon,\u00a0Contrechamps, San Francisco Contemporary Music Players, the Danel Quartet, the Diotima Quartet, as part of festivals Agora, Resonances, Manca, Musica Nova, International Festival Cervantino, RT\u0419 Living Music Festival, Pr\u0439sences, L’Itin\u0439raire de Nuit, Musica Strasbourg,\u00a0Ars Musica, Nuova Consonanza, Suona Francese, Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo, Fabbrica Europa, Wien Modern, Archipel, Donaueschinger Musiktage, MaerzMusik, Darmstadt Ferienkurse f\u044cr Neue\u00a0Musik. His works have been commissioned by prestigious institutions, festivals and benefactors like the Villa Medici, the French Ministry of Culture, the Orchestre National de Lyon, IRCAM, the Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo, SWR, the Fromm Foundation, Fran\u0437oise et Jean-Philippe Billarant.
\nIn 2001, he received a grant from the Fondation Meyer , the Fondation Bleustein-Blanchet pour la Vocation and in 2004, the price-Herv\u0439 Dugardin SACEM.<\/p>\n

Pierluigi Billone (Italy)
\n<\/strong>Born in 1960 in Italy, lives in Vienna. He studied under Salvatore Sciarrino and Helmut Lachenmann.
\nFrom 2006 to 2008 Pierluigi Billone has been guest professor for composition at the Music University Graz, in 2009 at the High School of Music Frankfurt, and from 2010 at the Music University Graz.
\nHe receives regular invitations to give seminars on composition and guest lectures (IEMA-International Ensemble Modern Academy Frankfurt , Conservatoire Paris, Conservatorium Amsterdam, Musikuniversit\u0434t Wien, Harvard University Boston,\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Columbia University N.Y., Summer courses\u00a0 Darmstadt 2010, Impulse Academy\u00a0 Graz 2011, Tzlil Meducan Israel 2011).
\nAmong the prizes he has received for his works are the City of Stuttgart Composition Prize (1993), the Busoni Award for Composition from the Akademie der K\u044cnste Berlin (1996), the Vienna International Composition Prize (2004),\u00a0 the Ernst Krenek Prize of the City of Vienna (2006), and the Grant in aid Ernst-von-Siemens-Musikstiftung Munich (2010).
\nHis works have been featured at festivals such as the Donaueschinger Musiktagen, Wien Modern, the Wittener Tagen f\u044cr neue Kammermusik, Ars Musica Bruxelles, Festival d\u2019Automne \u0430 Paris and the Huddersfield Contemporary Music festival, and broadcasted by\u00a0 the most important European radios (BBC, WDR, SDR, BRD, NDR, ORF, DRS, RCE, RF).
