Bracha Bdil, Israel/UK (1988), composer, conductor and pianist, has a Master’s degree in Music Education and Composition from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Bracha won the first prize in the Wolf Durmashkin Composition Award, Germany (2018), and the first prize in the Yardena Alotin Composition Competition, Bar-Ilan University, Israel (2016). Her repertoire includes orchestral music, chamber, vocal and electronic music, as well as music for dance and theater. For her Symphonic Poem Genesis, Bracha was awarded the ACUM Award, Israel (2019-20). Her electronic work UrbaNature won the Lala Awards competition held by Pleroma Records, Poland (2020). With her composition Yizkerem, for a-cappella choir, she was chosen as one of the composers in representing Israel at the Asian Composers League Festival, Taiwan (2018). That same year, Yizkerem was also awarded a prize in the International Choral Writing Competition named after A.D Kastalsky – Moscow (2018). Bracha Bdil is a member of the Israel Composers’ League and her works are published by the Israel Music Institute. Her compositions are performed in Israel and around the world. Starting from season 2018-9 Bracha is the artistic director and chief conductor of the Zmora Women’s Orchestra in Jerusalem.

Tobias Fandel, Germany (1986) Numerous international invitations and concerts confirm Tobias Fandel’s cultural open artistic vision, first to mention Taipeh (Soochow University), Tel Aviv (CEME Festival, Ensemble Meitar), XV. Chengdu Sun River Composition Prize (China, 3rd prize), Leipzig (ZfGM Festival: Ensemble Tempus Konnex), Mise-En Music Festival (New York, Ensemble Mise-En), Lugano (Ticino Musica: Ensemble Modern), Bangkok (TICF Festival, Hong Kong New Music Ensemble), St. Petersburg ( International Festival of New Music) and Leipzig (Ensemble Festival International Composition Competition: 2nd prize). After studies in Frankfurt/M (Music and Mathematics), Munich (Markus Bellheim, piano), Zurich (Isabel Mundry), Helsinki (Tuija Hakkila, piano), and Leipzig (Claus-Steffen Mahnkopf), is Tobias Fandel currently completing his Doctor of Music at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Miles Jefferson Friday, U.S.A. (1993) is currently pursuing a DMA in music composition at Cornell University where he studies primarily with Marianthi Papalexandri-Alexandri and Kevin Ernste. Miles holds a MA in composition from the Eastman School of Music where he studied with Oliver Schneller and conducted his graduate research under Robert D. Morris and also holds a BM from the Indiana University, Jacobs School of Music. Miles has won awards and honors including the ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Award, the Wayne Brewster Barlow Prize, the Kuttner String Quartet Composition Competition, and the Robert Avalon Young Composer Competition. Miles has also spent additional time studying at festivals such as IRCAM’s Manifeste Academie, the Grafenegg (Ink Still Wet) Festival, June in Buffalo, the Splice Institute, and the Red Note Music Festival. In 2019 Miles was a guest artist at the Thailand New Music and Arts Symposium and in 2017 had a sound installation premiered at the SinusTon Festival. Miles has worked with and had his music played by prominent ensembles such as Ensemble Intercontemporain, International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), Dal Niente, TAK ensemble, the Momenta String Quartet, the Fifth House Ensemble, and many others

Joan Gómez Alemany, Spain (1990) studied composition with Franck Bedrossian and Clemens Gadenstätter at the Kunst Universität Graz where he finished the bachelor studies and 2 master (in composition and opera). He also holds a degree in piano and fine arts in the University UPV, specializing in cinema and painting. He received private lessons by Mark Andre, Pierluigi Billone, Raphaël Cendo, Brian Ferneyhough, Ashley Fure, Dmitri Kourliandski, Michael Maierhof, Hèctor Parra, Alberto Posadas, Stefan Prins, Yann Robin, Rebecca Saunders, Mauricio Sotelo, etc. His pieces were premiered at Festivals such as Impuls, Darmstädter Ferienkurse, Manifeste-IRCAM, Ensems, Mixtur, Barcelona Modern, etc. His music was interpreted by orchestras like SWR and JOGV and ensembles like Recherche, Arditti Quartet, Schallfed, Nikel, Multilatérale, Szene Intrumental, IEMA (International Ensemble Modern Academy), BCN216, Container, Parcours etc. Currently is working in a chamber opera for the Graz Opera that will be premiered in 2022 conducted by Beat Furrer

Vladimir Ladomirov, Russia (1993) was born in Mariupol (Ukraine). In 2009 he received a diploma from a music school in the accordion class in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. In 2014 he graduated from the Khabarovsk Regional College of Arts (piano), and in 2019 from the St. Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory (composition). He became a laureate of the Third Open Far East Competition for Young Composers named after Yu. Vladimirov and the 21st Century Choral Laboratory in St. Petersburg, as well as a finalist of the International Composers Competition named after S. Slonimsky. His music was performed by the GAM-ensemble, the St. Petersburg Molot-ensemble and MCME. He took part in such events as the educational week of Tavrida Echo (2018), the Tavrida Forum (2018), the Second International Seminar of the Hammer-Ensemble in St. Petersburg 2019 and composer readings in Moscow 2019 and in Krasnoyarsk 2021

Adrian Laugsch, Germany/Poland (1997) is a German-Polish composer, performer and sound artist. He studied composition with Prof. Martin Schüttler at the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. Currently he is pursuing a second degree in music theory with Prof. Hubert Moßburger. Additionally, he has participated in masterclasses (Lucerne Festival Academy, Académie Voix Nouvelles etc.) with Wolfgang Rihm, Brian Ferneyhough, Raphaël Cendo, Jennifer Walshe, Johannes Kreidler, Stefan Prins, Dmitri Kourliandski and many others. Amongst an array of multifaceted interests, his artistic focus lies on the recontextualisation and defragmentation of historical, (auto)biographical and nostalgic material and its confrontation with digital, multimedia and theatrical strategies. His works have been performed by renowned ensembles and performers (SWR Vokalensemble, Ensemble Musikfabrik, ensemble ascolta, JACK Quartet, Camerata Zürich, GlasgowNewMusicExpedition, Max Brand Ensemble Wien) and he received several prizes: 1st prize Osnabrück-Composition-Competition, 2nd prize international Gustav-Mahler-Competition Klagenfurt, Berio-prize Wroclaw and the Wilfried-Steinbrenner scholarship.

Alexei Logunov, Russia (1990) graduated from composition faculty of Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg Conservatory, where he is studying now at the piano faculty (with pr. Vladimir Tsytovitch, pr. Sergey Slonimsky, pr. Gennady Banschikov, pr. Yekaterina Murina). He received Fullbright scholarship for 2018-2020. In 2020 he has done his master degree in Jacobs School of Music at the composition faculty (Indiana University, Bloomington, USA). Alexey is a winner of various competitions, including the 4th International Competition of musicians-performers and composers “Romantism: Roots and Horizons”, 6th and 7th Competitions of young composers “Three centuries of the classic romance” and Competition of symphonic pieces within the second project of “Siberian Symphony”. He was a participant of master-classes by Mátti Kovler, Klaus Lang, Robert Paterson, Jeffrey Mumford, Georg Friedrich Haas, Peep Lassmann and MCME.

Egor Savelyanov, Russia (1999) since 2019 has been studying at the Moscow State Conservatory at the composer’s faculty (class of Professor Yuri Kasparov). Ekaterina Suvorkina, Russia (1992) is a composer, musicologist, teacher. Graduated from the Composer and Musicology Faculty of the Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory named after Mikhail Glinka (class of Associate Professor D.O. Prisyazhnyuk). Among the works of this period are the chamber opera “Pushkin’s Tale” and the symphonic score “On the Music of the Gone Century”. She participated in many creative laboratories and master-classes (J. Kreidler, R. Moser, S. Nevsky, D. Kourliandski, R. Cendo), also consulted with V. Tarnopolsky. She is the winner of the All-Russian composer competitions, regularly participates in concerts and festivals of contemporary music. Since 2018, she has become a member of the Union of Russian Composers. He successfully combines creative activity with teaching (she teaches a composition and theoretical classes in a Music School and a Teacher College). She pays great attention to enlightenment: in 2013 she organized the chamber ensemble “Tempore Versus”, which specializes in the performance of contemporary music, acts as a lecturer and presenter of concerts.

Roman Zhaurov, Russia (1996) in 2018 graduated from the Kamchatka College of Arts, Department of Music Theory. At present he is a student of the Moscow State Conservatory (composition class of Prof. Leonid Bobylev). Laureate of international competitions (2018, 2020), participant of the XIII Winter International Arts Festival (Sochi, 2020). the VII All-Russian Summer School of Composers “Choral Laboratory. XXI Century”. the 10th International Young Composers Academy in Tchaikovsky (2020). Member of the Theater of Nations Opera Laboratory in the framework of the Dostoevsky-200 project (2021). Participant of master-classes with Dmitri Kourliandski, Oscar Bianchi, Valery Voronov, Alexander Khubeev, Sergej Newski, Mehdi Hosseini, Vladimir Rannev and others.

Alexander Perov, Russia (1993) – composer, guitarist, bell ringer. Was born in 1993 in Novosibirsk. Graduated from the Murov Novosibirsk College of Music on classical guitar, laureate of international competitions. He qualified as a bell ringer at the Siberian Bell Art Center of the Novosibirsk Metropolis. In the period from 2016 to 2020, he studied at the Novosibirsk Conservatory (composition class of Yuri Yukechev), was the chairman of the student club of composers. Currently he is a student of the Moscow Conservatory (composition class of Yuri Kasparov). Organizer of concerts of contemporary music, lectures and creative meetings. Participant of the projects “Composer Readings” and “Micromusiclab”. Since 2015 – a member of the annual philharmonic project “Calls of Russia”.

Elena Vainberg, Russia (1989) in 2017 graduated from the Ippolitov-Ivanov State Music-Pedagogical Institute (class composition of Efrem Podgaits). The author of chamber, vocal, choral and symphonic music. Among the performers are the Orpheus Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Moscow Academic Symphony Orchestra under Pavel Kogan, the Ponomarev Spring Children’s Choir, the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble and others. She has created instrumentation for such orchestras as the “Four Seasons”, the Hermitage soloist ensemble, the Russian folk ensemble “Exprompt quartet”, etc. Finalist of the Orpheus Radio Competition for young composers (2015), the IRC All-Russian competition for young composers (2020), Laureate of the “Score” competition (2020). Rigel Vinskaya, Russia (1995) graduated from the Musical College under the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Theory, 2015), currently she is a student at the Saint-Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory (Composition, A. Tamara Egorova, Russia (1995) graduated from the Glinka Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory in 2019 (class of Composition and Instrumentation of D. Prisyazhnyuk) and Post-Graduated Courses at the Glazunov Petro zavodsk State Conservatory (class of Theory and Composition of B. Napreev). She took part in the IV International Festival of Contemporary Music “Pictures at an Exhibition” (2017), the festival “Arkady Nesterov and the Nizhny Novgorod School of Composers” (2018). While studying at the Petrozavodsk Conservatory, she began to study musicology in the class of N.P. Khilko, in 2020 and 2021 took part in the IV and V All-Russian scientific and practical conference “Musical art: problems of theory, history and pedagogy” (Petrozavodsk). In 2021 she took part in the Composer Readings project (Nizhny Novgorod), as a result of which she became the owner of a scholarship from the Union of Composers of Russia.

Nikita Sapronov, Russia (1987) was born in the Omsk region, the regional center Znamenskoye. He graduated from the Barnaul Musical College (piano class) and graduated from the Altai Academy of Culture and Arts with a degree in theater director. Samir Tima, Iran (1992) is an Iranian artist who is currently studying composition at Saint-Petersburg Conservatory under the supervision of Alexander Radvilovich, in parallel he takes some composition’s lessons with Mehdi Hosseini to study more new music. He also had composition’s lessons under the supervision of Mehran Rouhani (PGD from RCM) and Farshid Samandari (DMA from Uni. of British Columbia Vancouver), in the past and he had research about ethnic music in the Middle East. He collaborated with Vi-CO (Vancouver Inter Cultural Orchestra) and Road Runner Trio (Netherland) and he wrote some pieces for them. During this year he also took lessons in Festival 2020 and he participated in masterclasses of Yuri Kasparov, Raphael Cendo and Dmitri Kourliandski in St. Petersburg and took part in the MicroMusicLab Festival 2020 in Moscow.

Ilya Vyazov (1999) graduated from the State Gnesins Music Academy in the bassoon class of Stanislav Katenin in 2020. At the moment he is studying at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory as a composer in the class of Vladimir Tarnopolsky. Participated in the Young Composers Academy as part of the Bashmet Winter Arts Festival in Sochi.
